Welcome! City Credit Union is a full-service financial institution offering quality service while still maintaining a personal, “small town” relationship with our members. We offer over 40 years of serving our members and community.
The credit union was formed in 1960 by the City of Independence Power & Light workers. From that core, we have expanded to take in groups such as the cities of Independence and Blue Springs, and the Mid-Continent Public Libraries and GEHA. We currently serve 20 employer groups and our members total over 4,000.
