Welcome! City Credit Union is a full-service financial institution offering quality service while still maintaining a personal, “small town” relationship with our members. We offer over 40 years of serving our members and community.
The credit union was formed in 1960 by the City of Independence Power & Light workers. From that core, we have expanded to take in areas such as the cities of Independence and Blue Springs, as well as Jackson County. We also serve the employees of groups such as the Mid-Continent Public Libraries and GEHA. We currently serve 20 employer groups and our members total over 4,000.
